Hey Jonathan!

Thanks for thinking of our team for this project. We’ve given it some thought and we think to get this “masterclass” look and style, we’ll want to elevate the visual look. We could film in the Clubhouse but I think it could be really powerful to switch it up and film in a studio, bring in some plants & set design to elevate the look and give it that “Big Think” style.

Excited to work together again!

Look & Feel

We want this course to feel premium & elevated. We want the space to feel large, but not empty. Classy.

LOCATION

To achieve this feel, we propose to shoot in a larger film studio, as in my experience of filming in the Clubhouse, we can only get as wide as the shot from the DFC Mentorship video (referenced below). Alternatively, if we can possibly film in a lecture hall or auditorium and set up our own lights, that could work.

PRODUCTION

To convey the feeling of watching Jonathan doing live public speaking, Jonathan will be standing, and we’ll cover with 2 cameras. A full body camera, and a tight shot of the face to connect better to the speaker.

I’ll be bringing on at 1-2 crew to help with lighting, probably Josh. We’ll also want to aim for 2 days of filming in order to ensure we have enough time for setup and delivery of the content.

Previous relevant interview shots by 4th District. We’ll want this series to feature Jonathan standing and even larger feeling space.

DFC Mentor Training video. Reference for the “widest” feeling we can get from the Clubhouse.

We had the pleasure to partner with Stanford, Harvard, and Bocconi University on their Youth Media Study campaign to help support a happier and healthier digital future for youth. We created a full series that drove the remote data collection for families across multiple control and test groups. Below is the introduction video to that series.
